Delhi University Admission 2026: In Delhi University, there is tremendous enthusiasm among the students regarding admission in UG for this year i.e. 2026-27 session. Till now, a total of 1,90,645 i.e. about 1.9 lakh candidates have registered through the Common Seat Allocation System i.e. CSAS. Of these, 1,64,098 i.e. more than 1.64 lakh students have also completed the Phase-2 process, which included subject mapping as well as filling of college and course preferences.
This year, admission will be given in a total of 73 undergraduate programs in the university, which are available in 69 colleges and departments. Including all these courses, a total of 71,624 seats will be filled. The special thing is that this time the university is also offering about 150 different BA program combinations, and the complete seat matrix has already been uploaded on the official website of DU.
First seat allotment list will come on 16th July
Now the eyes of all the students and their parents are fixed on 16th July, because on this day the first seat allotment list of CSAS will be released. After this, students will have two options, either they can freeze their admission, that is, they can remain in the same college and course, or they can choose the option of upgrade in the next round.

Fee payment will now be easier than before
To make the admission process easier, this time the university has started a new virtual wallet system. The special thing about this system is that if a student has deposited the fees in the first round, and later he is upgraded to another college or course, then the amount deposited earlier will automatically be adjusted. This will provide relief to students from the hassle of paying fees again and again and will also save time. The university plans to complete two rounds of admission before the start of the new academic session, i.e. by July 28.
