According to the report of Koimoi, the film did a business of Rs 4.5 crore on the second Friday i.e. the 8th day. ‘Cocktail 2’ has become the 5th highest grossing film and will soon overtake ‘O Romeo’ to reach the fourth position worldwide. With this, it will also become Shahid Kapoor’s fourth highest grosser film. According to Koimoi, as per the data of 7 days, the worldwide collection of the film has reached 122.14 crores. Whereas the net collection of the film has reached 78.81 crores in 8 days. At the same time, the net collection of ‘O Romeo’ is 83.35 crores.
Hit tag not found, budget charged so much
Even though ‘Cocktail 2’ has done a worldwide business of more than 122 crores, it still has not got the tag of hit. The reason for this is that the film has not been able to recover its budget till now as per the net collection. According to Koimoi, the budget of the film is Rs 110 crore, while the net collection of the film has reached Rs 78.81 crore. In this respect, the film has been able to recover only 71.65% of the budget.
