The story of both the films was the same, but the characters were different and the surprising thing was that both the films performed well at the box office.

First let’s talk about crime. This film was released on July 13, 1990. In this, Vinod Khanna has played the role of Inspector Shekhar Verma. He loves his wife (Meenakshi Sheshadri) very much, but while helping Sangeeta Bijlani, who became a witness during a case, he falls in love with her. In the film, relationship after marriage is shown as a mistake. In the end, after a lot of emotional ups and downs, he again wins his wife’s trust and love. This film was directed by Mahesh Bhatt.

The film ‘Haar Jeet’ was released two weeks later in the month of July itself, on 27th July. The name and characters of this film are different, but the story is quite similar. In this, Kabir Bedi, Madhavi and Farah Naz are shown in a love triangle. In the story, Kabir Bedi’s character gets into another relationship despite being married. The film shows the emotional conflict between two relationships in a simple manner.
