After the NEET paper leak, NEET re-exam was organized on 21 June 2026. National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the process of fee refund for all such candidates. For this, students will have to confirm or update the bank account information. This facility has been made available on the official portal of NTA. The last date to update or confirm bank details is 30 June 2026 till 11:55 pm.
If the bank account information you have already given is correct, then you just have to confirm it by going to your login. If the bank account has changed or there is a mistake in the information given earlier, then the new bank account number and IFSC code will have to be provided. Along with this, a copy of canceled check or passbook will also be uploaded.
NTA has also given relief to those candidates who had chosen the option of ‘No Refund’ at the time of application. Now such candidates can also change their choice and apply for fee refund. This means that even if you had earlier chosen not to take a refund, you still have a chance to change your decision.
This facility was given
Keeping in mind the security of the students, this time the facility of OTP based two-factor authentication (2FA) has been provided on the portal. During login, OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates. Bank details can be updated or confirmed only after entering the OTP.

NTA has also clearly warned the candidates to exercise utmost caution while filling the bank account number and IFSC code. A small mistake can cause difficulty in getting refund. Therefore, before submitting the form, double-check all the information. The agency has also said that NTA never asks candidates for OTP, password or other information by phone, SMS or e-mail.
