Akshay Kumar starrer much awaited horror-comedy film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ has been released worldwide on Friday. Earlier, its paid preview show was held from 9 pm on 16th April and it has received positive response from the audience. With this the film has made a good start in paid previews. Let us tell you that the makers of ‘Bhoot Bangla’ also followed the strategy of paid preview like Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2). This film has now been released in theaters and is getting good response from the critics as well as the audience who have seen it. It is noteworthy that Akshay and Priyadarshan’s film together has come after 14 years.
According to Sacknilk’s early trend report, the film, directed by Priyadarshan, has collected around Rs 3.50 crore nett from paid preview shows across India. Although a net collection of Rs 2.50-3 crore was expected from the preview shows, the film has performed well beyond expectations due to the positive response and reaction of initial critics. Interestingly, this figure is considered good for a film releasing on a non-holiday, especially in the horror-comedy genre, which usually depends on the word of mouth of the audience.
‘‘Bhoot Bungalow’ With how many crores can it be opened?
Due to the tremendous response ‘Bhoot Bangla’ received in the paid previews, the film is expected to register good figures on the opening day and may cross the Rs 13 crore mark on the first day itself. With this, it can break the record of first day net collection of Rs 12.50 crore in India of Akshay Kumar’s previous release ‘Jolly LLB 3’.
