Nahid made his second victim Shamal Hussain who was caught by Liton Das on the personal score of 4. Rana completed his third victim by sending Under-19 star Maaz Sadaqat to the pavilion on a personal score of 18 runs. Rana completed his fourth victim by getting wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan caught by Liton, while Rana opened his claws by sending Salman Agha to the pavilion for five runs. In this match, Rana took 5 wickets for 24 runs in 7 overs. Captain Mehdi Hasan Miraj took 3 wickets.

Pakistan team collapsed for 114 runs in the first ODI. The team captained by Shaheen Afridi returned to the pavilion in 30.4 overs. Faheem Ashraf scored the maximum 37 runs for Pakistan.

Young sensation Nahid Rana, born on 2 October 2002, is currently the center of discussion in world cricket due to his stormy pace. Capable of reaching speeds of more than 150 km/h, Rana is known for consistently throwing 'thunderbolts' at a speed of 145 km/h. Interestingly, Rana made it to the national team directly on the basis of his ability rather than through the traditional route of age-old cricket. With this achievement, he has become the first Bangladeshi bowler to take 5 wickets in ODI against Pakistan on home soil.
