Soumya Sarkar is returning to the Test team for Bangladesh after 5 years. He last took the field for his team with the red ball in the year 2021.
Soumya Sarkar returns in Bangladesh Test
New Delhi: Bangladesh suffered a big blow for the Test series against Australia when two of its players, Nahid Rana and Shoriful Islam, got injured. Due to injury, both these players will no longer be able to play in the Test series. In such a situation, the team management remembered Bangladesh’s Hindu cricketer and all-rounder Soumya Sarkar. Soumya Sarkar has returned to the Test team after five years. He last took the field in the year 2021 in the Mirpur Test against West Indies.
