Lady Luck i.e. his wife Shreyasi Rudra. Actually, Dinda’s wife, who played 22 international matches for the Indian team between 2009 and 2013, is also a sports lover and is now fully supporting him in politics too. Ashok Dinda’s wife’s name is Shreyasi Rudra. She may have become a home maker after her marriage to Ashok Dinda in 2013, but earlier she was a software engineer. Shreyasi is also a sports lover and is crazy about cricket. When Ashok Dinda played in IPL, Shreyasi often reached the stadium and cheered him. Not only Shreyasi but her grandmother was also a big lover of cricket.

We met at a friend’s house
Ashok Dinda had told the story of his first meeting with his wife in an old interview. Both of them have a love marriage. According to Dinda, both of them met in a party and the conversation started there. The process of meeting and meeting started from here. Both started liking each other, but the hesitation to exchange numbers still remained. Ashok Dinda took Shreyasi’s number from a friend and this is how the conversation started. Their love story lasted for four years and on July 22, 2013, the couple got married.

Mother was not ready for marriage
According to Ashok Dinda, he introduced Shreyasi to his mother after a relationship of about two and a half years. Ashok Dinda hesitatingly told his feelings to his mother because he knew that his mother would not agree to this marriage and something similar happened, but in the end love won and his mother agreed.

Have played IPL for five teams
Ashok Dinda has played IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders, Pune Warriors, Rising Pune Supergiants as well as Royal Challengers Bangalore. Dinda, born on March 25, 1984, has 69 wickets in his name in 78 IPL matches. For Team India, he has taken 12 wickets in 13 ODIs and 17 wickets in nine T20 Internationals. It is expected that just as former Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwari was made the Sports Minister by Mamata Banerjee in her government, it is possible that Ashok Dinda may also be given the charge of the Sports Ministry in the BJP government.
