Direct recruitment for the posts of Anganwadi workers has been started by the Department of Child Development Services and Nutrition. The special thing about this recruitment is that there will be no written examination. Selection will be done entirely on the basis of merit.
This recruitment process is going on in different districts of the state. In this sequence, applications have been invited for Anganwadi workers in Sambhal district. Its advertisement has been issued by the District Program Officer’s office. Interested and eligible women can apply online by visiting the official website upanganwabidharti.in till 5th May 2026.
Under this recruitment, posts will be filled in many projects of Sambhal district, which include 30 posts in Asmoli, 40 posts in Bahjoi, 35 posts in Bania Kheda, 14 posts in Gunnaur, 12 posts in Junwai, 22 posts in Pawasa, 9 posts in Rajpura and 41 posts in Sambhal area. Women selected on these posts will get the opportunity to work at the Anganwadi center of their own area.

Who can apply?
The educational qualification for this recruitment has been kept very simple. Female candidates must have passed at least 12th from a recognized board. Talking about age, the age of the woman should not be less than 18 years and more than 35 years on January 1, 2026. Age will be confirmed on the basis of date of birth recorded in the high school mark sheet. Along with this, the woman applying should be a resident of the same Gram Sabha or urban ward for which she is applying. If no eligible application is received from that Gram Panchayat, then the selection will be done at the Nyaya Panchayat level.
Some important documents will be required while applying, like 10th and 12th marksheet, Aadhar card, mobile number, email ID, domicile certificate and caste certificate (if applicable). Information about these documents will have to be filled in the application form and some will also have to be uploaded.

Registration has to be done by clicking on New Anganwadi Worker Vacancy Registration in Important Links. Password will have to be created by filling name, father’s name, district, mobile number, Aadhaar number and email ID. After this, login and fill the entire application form carefully. After uploading the passport size photograph and signature, the application fee will have to be deposited and a printout of the form will have to be taken.
