Alia Bhatt starrer YRF Spy Universe’s first female lead film ‘Alpha’ has seen ups and downs in its first week’s earnings. After a spectacular opening weekend, where there was a huge decline in its earnings on Monday, it picked up pace at the box office on Tuesday and earned well. But on Wednesday once again a slowdown is being seen in the collection of ‘Alpha’. Let us know here how much collection has this film made on the sixth day i.e. Wednesday?
How much did ‘Alpha’ earn on the sixth day?
‘Alpha’ was released in theaters on July 3. It received poor reviews from critics and there were a lot of negative reviews for the film on social media, despite this the film is performing well at the box office. After showing a boom in the opening weekend, there is a slowdown in its collection on weekdays, yet it is now moving towards touching the figure of Rs 50 crore.
- Talking about the collection of the film, it opened its account with Rs 9.25 crore. Then on the second day it earned Rs 11.50 crore, on the third day it earned Rs 13.25 crore, on the fourth day it earned Rs 3.85 crore and on the fifth day it earned Rs 4.25 crore.
- Now according to the early trend report of Sacknilk, ‘Alpha’ has collected Rs 2.85 crore on the 6th day of its release i.e. Wednesday.

‘Alpha’ overtakes ‘Welcome to the Jungle’
On Wednesday, ‘Alpha’ overtook Akshay Kumar’s ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. While ‘Alpha’ earned Rs 2.85 crores, Welcome to the Jungle earned only Rs 2.35 crores on the second Wednesday. However, in terms of total collection, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is far ahead.
‘Alpha’ is inches away from recovering its costs
Of course, ‘Alpha’ is not able to earn bumper and is growing at a slow pace, yet it is going to recover half of its cost. Actually, according to Koimoi, the budget of the film is Rs 100 crore. In such a situation, it has earned Rs 44 crore in 6 days of its release. As soon as it earns more Rs 6 crores, it will touch the figure of Rs 50 crores and will also recover half of its budget. It is expected that this film will achieve this feat by the second weekend.
However, from this Friday i.e. 10th July, ‘Alpha’ will have to compete with Ajay Devgan’s ‘Dhamal 4’. There is already a lot of buzz about ‘Dhamaal 4’, hence the arrival of this film will affect the earnings of ‘Alpha’. It remains to be seen how much ‘Alpha’ is able to earn at the box office ahead of the new release.
