If you are dreaming of graduating from Allahabad University after 12th, then there is good news for you. The university has started the admission process for graduation courses including BA and BEd for the academic session 2026. Interested candidates can apply online till 15 July 2026. Applications will be accepted through Samarth Admission Portal.
This time, to make the admission process easier, the university has divided it into two phases. In the first phase, candidates will have to register and update their profile. After this, in the second phase, you will have to select your preferred course and deposit the application fee. All the processes of both the phases will have to be completed by July 15.
You will get many options to choose subjects in BA
This time the university has provided 83 subject combinations for BA course. Out of these, candidates will have to choose at least 40 options. There are a total of 14 subject combinations in BSc (Mathematics) and it will be mandatory to select all of them. Similarly, 12 subject combinations have been given in BSc (Biology), which all the candidates will also have to select. However, the university has clarified that the final subject combination will depend on the availability of seats.
Keep these documents ready before application
Before starting the online application, keep some important documents ready with you. These include 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, recent passport size photograph, signature (JPG/JPEG format) and if applicable, valid certificate of EWS, OBC, SC or ST category issued in central format. These documents will be required during the application.

You will not get a chance after July 15
The university has made it clear that the last date for registration, profile update, course selection and fee deposit is 15th July 2026 only. Applications will not be accepted after this. In such a situation, students who want to take admission in Allahabad University are advised to complete the application process as soon as possible instead of waiting for the last moment, so that the opportunity is not missed due to any technical problem.
