New Delhi: Team India’s star player Abhishek Sharma is known as an explosive batsman. Something similar happened in the second T20 match against Zimbabwe. Starting the innings in this match, Abhishek Sharma was out after scoring only 8 runs with the help of 2 fours in 8 balls.

After flopping in batting, captain Shreyas Iyer handed him the bowling in the second innings. Abhishek also did not disappoint his captain and took 3 wickets for just 17 runs in 2.5 overs. With this, Abhishek became the first opening batsman of Team India in Men’s T20, who achieved the feat of taking 3 wickets in bowling. Apart from Abhishek, even the big Indian openers have not been able to do this in T20 International.

Apart from this, Tilak Verma scored unbeaten 60 runs in 29 balls, while captain Shreyas contributed 25 runs, due to which Team India scored a huge score of 219 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs game. In response, Zimbabwe team was all out after scoring 129 runs in 17.5 overs. In bowling for Team India, apart from Abhishek, Yash Thakur and Prince Yadav achieved 2-2 successes, while Ravi Bishnoi, Tilak Verma and Shivam Dubey also got one wicket each.
