Abhishek Sharma Bowling record: Team India’s explosive opener batsman Abhishek Sharma was out after scoring only 8 runs in the second T20 match against Zimbabwe, but he made a big record in his name in bowling. In the match, Abhishek Sharma dismissed three Zimbabwe batsmen in 2.5 overs of bowling.

New Delhi: Team India’s star player Abhishek Sharma is known as an explosive batsman. Abhishek starts destroying the bowlers from the first ball, but on days when his bat is not working, he does wonders in bowling too. Something similar happened in the second T20 match against Zimbabwe. Starting the innings in this match, Abhishek Sharma was out after scoring only 8 runs with the help of 2 fours in 8 balls.
After flopping in batting, captain Shreyas Iyer handed him the bowling in the second innings. Abhishek also did not disappoint his captain and took 3 wickets for just 17 runs in 2.5 overs. With this, Abhishek became the first opening batsman of Team India in Men’s T20, who achieved the feat of taking 3 wickets in bowling. Apart from Abhishek, even the big Indian openers have not been able to do this in T20 International.
India won the match by 90 runs due to Abhishek’s strong bowling.
In the match against Zimbabwe, due to the strong bowling of Abhishek Sharma, Team India won the match by 90 runs and took an unassailable lead in the series by 2-0. After losing the toss in the match, Team India was invited to bat first. Team India did not have a good start in batting. Apart from Abhishek, Vaibhav Suryavanshi also got out after scoring only 20 runs in 9 balls. However, Ishan Kishan and vice-captain Tilak Verma handled the innings for Team India in the middle order.
Ishan Kishan played an inning of 81 runs in 44 balls. Apart from this, Tilak Verma scored unbeaten 60 runs in 29 balls, while captain Shreyas contributed 25 runs, due to which Team India scored a huge score of 219 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs game. In response, Zimbabwe team was all out after scoring 129 runs in 17.5 overs. In bowling for Team India, apart from Abhishek, Yash Thakur and Prince Yadav achieved 2-2 successes, while Ravi Bishnoi, Tilak Verma and Shivam Dubey also got one wicket each.
