Now he is ready to return for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL after completing rehabilitation at the 'Centre of Excellence' in Bengaluru. Mayank said in Geostar's 'IPL Today Live', 'Everything has changed for me after the surgery. Earlier I did not take care of myself. Used to avoid recovery sessions and ignore many things. But now I pay a lot of attention to recovery, nutrition and sleep. The more I respect my body, the more my body supports me on the field.

Mayank said, 'Bumrah bhaiya shared his experience about returning after surgery and what things should be paid attention to. He told how the body will feel during recovery and how to face this time. Whenever we talk on phone or message, he shares his learnings with me.

Mayank Yadav's career so far has been affected by injuries. He entered the IPL in 2022, when Lucknow Super Giants bought him at a base price of Rs 20 lakh. He bowled the fastest ball of the season, which he bowled at a speed of 156.7 km per hour. She is one of the fastest bowlers in league history.
