According to reports, the company has completed the initial production of these phones at its partner unit located in Navi Mumbai and now preparations are underway for large-scale manufacturing. A target has been set to make lakhs of units every year. According to the company, after the first version, more advanced models will also be introduced in which new technology and AI support can also be seen in the future. It is believed that the development of these phones will be completely ready by the end of this year.
If understood in simple language, D2M technology turns the mobile into a small TV. In this, a special receiver chip is installed inside the phone which works like an antenna. This chip directly captures the broadcast signal and shows live TV channels without any internet or data. That means the user will neither have to spend data nor worry about the network. It has also been said in some reports that in future, OTT content can also be accessed through this technology.
