New Delhi: More than 400 people have died in the air strike by Pakistan on Afghanistan. Afghanistan's cricketers have strongly criticized this bad action of Pakistan. Afghan cricket star Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar has made an emotional appeal for international attention following the devastating attack on a major rehabilitation center in Kabul.
This young player spoke exclusively on CNN-News18 about the damage caused to humans due to the increasing conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan. In this incident, a major hospital was destroyed, which was important for physical and mental treatment in the capital. Ghazanfar said that this place was a support for people to get their lives back on track. One to two thousand patients lived in the hospital and thousands of families were supported by it.
Ghazanfar will play for Mumbai Indians in IPL
Ghazanfar said, “The people there do not have money for treatment. Now they targeted that place also, martyred those people. This is not acceptable to the people of Afghanistan.” This attack took place in an atmosphere of deteriorating relations and 'open war' on the Durand Line. Ghazanfar, who will play for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2026, questioned the purpose of the military operation.
He said, “I don't know what they want to prove. They come and target common people and we cannot accept this. Afghanistan cannot accept this.” Referring to history, Ghazanfar said that if the same history is repeated then it will be very bad for Pakistan. He described the current action as a huge injustice and said that the reality of the attacks is different from the reasons that are being stated officially. Ghazanfar appealed for help from India.
Ghazanfar called India a friend of Afghanistan
He described India as a close friend and expressed hope that India would come forward in diplomatic talks so that such incidents do not happen again. He said, “India is our close friend. We want to talk to them, discuss these issues so that such things do not happen. We have the same appeal to other countries also. This is not good for the people. Right now the world is going through many challenges and this is not good for anyone.”
