Making mango pickle? Know how many days to expose yourself to sunlight

Mango Pickle: As soon as the summer season arrives, mango pickle preparation starts in many homes. People prepare different types of pickles to eat throughout the year, but everyone likes mango pickle. However, many people have a question in their mind as to how many days the pickle should be kept in the sun. If the pickle is not exposed to sunlight properly, its taste may deteriorate and it may spoil quickly.

Generally, mango pickle should be kept in good sunlight for 7 to 10 days. If the sun is strong then even 5 to 7 days may be enough. Keep the pickle in the sun during the day and bring it inside the house in the evening, so that moisture does not reach it.

stir the pickle once daily

Mix the pickle well with a clean and dry spoon once daily. Due to this, spices and oil are applied equally on all the pieces of mango. Besides, the risk of mold in pickles also reduces. Apart from this, there should be enough oil in the pickle that all the mango pieces are fully immersed. If there is less oil, the pickle may spoil quickly. Most people use mustard oil, because it keeps the pickle safe for a long time and also tastes good.

Keep away from moisture.

Always keep pickles in clean and completely dry glass jars. If even a little moisture or water gets into the jar, the pickle can get spoiled. Always use a dry spoon while taking out pickles. When the mango pieces become a little soft and the flavor of the spices gets absorbed well, then understand that the pickle is ready. After this you can eat it comfortably. After the pickle is ready, keep it in a cool and dry place. Always take out pickle with a dry spoon. If the pickle starts smelling, appears moldy or changes its color, then avoid eating it, because such pickle can get spoiled, due to which there is a risk of getting sick.
