Bihar Heli Tourism Service Launch 2026: If you want to see Bihar in a different way, then now is a great opportunity for you. The state government has decided to start heli tourism and air tourism services to promote tourism. Under this pilot project starting from July 15, tourists will be able to reach major tourist and religious places of Bihar in a short time through helicopters and small planes. Along with this, now you will also get a chance to see the view of Patna city and the beautiful valleys of Kaimur from the sky. Helicopter from Patna to Rajgir
Under this scheme, helicopter service is being started from Patna to Rajgir, in which the fare has been fixed at Rs 4,000 per passenger. There will be facility to travel by small aircraft to Valmikinagar, the only national park and tiger reserve of Bihar. For this, Rs 5,000 will have to be spent per seat. If you want to visit the famous Maa Mundeshwari temple located in Kaimur district, helicopter service will also be available. The fare for this journey has been kept at Rs 6,000 per person. With this, travel will be much easier and time saving as compared to road. Apart from this, you will enjoy seeing the spectacular view.
Special arrangements for those fond of visiting Patna
Special arrangements have also been made for those fond of visiting Patna, the capital of Bihar. A 10-minute helicopter joy ride will be organized every weekend. During this time tourists will be able to see the view of Patna city from the sky. A maximum of five passengers will be allowed to sit in a helicopter and the fare per person has been kept at Rs 2,100. For those who want to ride a helicopter for the first time, this experience can prove to be memorable.

Who will operate it?
Now coming to the issue under whose supervision this entire program will take place. The booking, refund and tour packages of this entire scheme will be operated by Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation, while the operation of flights will be under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Aviation. The district administration will also be responsible for the safety of passengers and arrangements for the helipad. The state government believes that this initiative will give a new identity to Bihar’s tourism. There has been a steady increase in the number of tourists visiting the state in recent years. In such a situation, with the start of air tourism, access to major tourist destinations like Rajgir, Valmikinagar, Kaimur and Patna will be easier than before.
