Now latest information related to this is coming out. According to this, the beta version of this website is going to be launched soon. According to reports, unnecessary captchas and pop-ups will be removed from the new website and Tatkal ticket booking will be faster. Along with this, Railways is also trying to curb bots in Tatkal ticket booking.
What will be the benefits of the new website?
Some reports are claiming that this website will be launched with a capacity of 1 lakh tickets per minute. With the arrival of the new website, passengers can also get rid of the problem of slow speed and frequent crashes. In this, the availability of seats of all classes will be visible simultaneously and once the passenger details are saved, it will be easy to book tickets again and again. Let us tell you that the existing site of IRCTC sometimes crashes as soon as Tatkal ticket booking starts, due to which passengers have to face difficulties. Apart from this, passengers also have complaints regarding captcha. Limited time is given to solve the captcha, by the time it is solved, time has passed.
What are your expectations from the new website?
It is expected that the IRCTC website will be given a new design and user-friendly interface, which will be able to handle high-traffic easily. It is believed that the payment gateway issue will also be resolved in the new website. Now after the release of its beta version, all the features will be unveiled. Based on the feedback received from the beta version, necessary improvements will be made and it will be launched for the public.
88 percent tickets are booked online
Indian Railways has the highest number of digital reservations. About 88 percent of tickets are now booked online. Railways has also been continuously changing the rules regarding online booking. Since July last year, Tatkal tickets can be booked only through the IRCTC website and app and this also requires Aadhaar authentication.
