Actually, Archana had shared the screen with Abhishek’s father and veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan in the iconic movie ‘Agneepath’. When Big B received the National Award for ‘Best Actor’ for this film, the Bachchan family threw a big party in a hotel to celebrate the win, but during the party, young Abhishek, who had returned from Switzerland, did something which embarrassed his parents and also angered Archana.

Abhishek narrated a funny story
Regarding this, actor Abhishek Bachchan, while mentioning this funny incident in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, said, ‘Everyone was singing karaoke and having fun. There was also a swimming pool there. I was a child and naughty too. I might have been 13-14 years old. Then I pushed Archana Puran Singh into the swimming pool.
Recalling that incident, Archana said, ‘I was wearing a mini skirt. He pushed me into the swimming pool from behind. Feeling bad about what happened to their guest, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan offered dry clothes to Archana.
Big B said, ‘My kurtas and pajamas are kept above. So, if you want..’ But, I refused and said, ‘I will not attend the party wearing kurta-pajama and that too of Amit ji’s size.’

‘Agneepath’ was a memorable film
Let us tell you that ‘Agneepath’, directed by Mukul Anand, was produced by Yash Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. This film is the story of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Amitabh’s character), who becomes a part of the Mumbai underworld and sets out on a mission to avenge his father’s death and the injustice done to his family.
Interestingly, the title of this film was taken from the poem of the same name ‘Agneepath’ by the famous poet and Big B’s father Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
