New Delhi: During the Indian team’s tour of England, Samit Dravid, son of former legend Rahul Dravid, did wonders. Samit Dravid is currently playing for Bengaluru Blasters in the Maharaja T20 Trophy. In the match held on 1st July, Samit batted brilliantly and scored 32 runs in just 23 balls against Hubli Tigers. In this innings he also hit a total of 6 fours.

This innings of Samit Dravid was certainly not very big, but it proved to be very useful for the team. Due to this important inning of Samit, Bengaluru Blasters scored 203 runs for 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs game, due to which his team registered a thrilling 2 run victory over Hubli.

Apart from batting, Samit also spelled four overs for his team. However, Samit could not do anything special in bowling. He spent a total of 40 runs in his bowling, but could not get a single success. Let us tell you that Samit is a spin bowling all-rounder. Along with strong batting in the middle order, he is also known for excellent spin bowling.

Whereas, if we talk about the match between Bengaluru Blasters and Hubli Tigers, Blasters batted first. Shivraj remained unbeaten after scoring 23 runs, due to which the team scored 203 runs. Whereas, in bowling from Hubli, Vaibhav Sharma took maximum 3 wickets and Abhishek Ahlawat took 2 wickets.

In response to this score of Bengaluru, Hubli did not have a good start. Both the openers together could score only 9 runs. However, in the middle order, Manvanth Kumar definitely kept the team’s hopes alive for some time by scoring 60 runs in just 22 balls, but as soon as he was out, the match went towards Bengaluru. Apart from Manvanth Kumar, Shivkumar Rakshit contributed 41 runs and Anishwar Gautam contributed 33 runs from Hubli, due to which the team could score only 201 runs.
