Maharashtra Board Result 2026: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the result of class 12th exam 2026. Lakhs of students who have been waiting for a long time can now check the results of their year’s hard work online at hscresult.mkcl.org and mahahsscboard.in. The board has released the result through press conference at 12 o’clock, after which now the result link has also been activated.

When were the Maharashtra Board examinations held?

This year the 12th examinations were held between 10 February to 11 March 2026. More than 14 lakh students had appeared in the examination, which includes students from all streams of Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational. This time also the topper list has not been released by the board, but only stream wise and overall performance data has been shared.

How to check Maharashtra Board 12th result

  • Students can easily check their results online. For this they will have to visit the official websites of the board, hscresult.mkcl.org and mahahsscboard.in.
  • After this click on the link on HSC Result 2026.
  • Now fill your roll number and necessary details.
  • As soon as you submit, the result will appear on the screen.
  • Now students can download it and keep its printout.
  • Apart from the official website, digital marksheet has also been made available on the digital locker platform. Students can download the marksheet by logging in with the help of their registered mobile number or Aadhaar.

Online marksheet will be provisional

The online marksheet issued by the board will be provisional. After a few days, students will have to get the original marksheet from their respective school, in which subject wise marks will be recorded. According to the rules of Maharashtra Board, it is mandatory for students to score at least 33 percent marks in each subject. This mark is decided by combining both theory and practical. If the marks are less than the minimum, the student will be considered failed, however such students will be given a chance to appear in the supplementary examination.

How was the result last year?

If we look at last year’s figures, the total pass percentage in 2025 was 91.88 percent. In this, the performance of science stream was the best, where more than 97 percent students passed. Whereas 92.68 percent students were successful in Commerce, about 83 percent in Vocational and about 80 percent in Arts stream. If we look at the results of the last 5 years, the results of Maharashtra Board have consistently remained around or above 90 percent.
