The conversation between former Team India players Virender Sehwag and Murali Karthik suddenly became violent. The matter has reached such a stage that Sehwag even asked to spray Red Bull on Karthik’s face. This incident happened last Wednesday (April 29) during a conversation after the match played between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Sehwag and Murali Karthik were talking about the match on Cricbuzz. There was mention of Shardul Thakur in the conversation, whom Mumbai included in the team as an impact player but did not give even a single over for bowling. Both Sehwag and Karthik appeared surprised at Mumbai’s decision.
I will spray Red Bull on your face
Talking about Shardul, Murali Karthik said, “I also did not understand. Maybe they brought him as an option, but maybe he forgot or it was something else. I really did not understand. I don’t know why, my face is exactly like yours.”
Before Karthik finished speaking, Sehwag asked the host of the show, can you pass me a can of Red Bull so that I can spray it on his face. Karthik looked completely uncomfortable after hearing this from Sehwag. Hearing this, Karthik asked Sehwag a question, “Why don’t you tell?” Sehwag then explained that Shardul should have bowled because he is a wicket-taking bowler, then Karthik reminded him that the question was ‘why’. To which Sehwag said, “Hardik Pandya has the answer to this question.”
Mumbai lost the match by scoring 243 runs
In the match played at Wankhede, Mumbai, batting first, scored 243 runs on the board at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Then while chasing, Hyderabad won in just 18.4 overs. In this way, despite making a big total, Mumbai lost the match unilaterally.
