Harbhajan Singh left AAP and joined BJP, opened front against Punjab government, knocked on the door of High Court

Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh is once again in the news. Rajya Sabha MP Harbhajan Singh had recently left Aam Aadmi Party and joined Bharatiya Janata Party. He has approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court regarding removal of his security. In his petition, Harbhajan has sought answers from the Punjab government as to why his security has been removed.

A few days ago, a video surfaced in which Aam Aadmi Party workers had written ‘traitor’ on the outer wall of Harbhajan Singh’s house. Harbhajan has also demanded action against those who wrote ‘traitor’ in his petition.

Taking action on the petition filed by Harbhajan Singh, the Punjab-Haryana High Court has issued a notice to the Punjab Government and the Central Government. The next date of hearing of this case has been fixed for May 12. Let us remind you that after Harbhajan joined BJP, policemen were deployed outside his house in Jalandhar. But last Saturday, Harbhajan’s security was withdrawn. The former cricketer has demanded restoration of security.
