Virat Kohli has performed a historic feat in the match against Gujarat Titans. He hit 5 consecutive fours in the same over of Kagiso Rabada, in this over Virat scored a total of 21 runs. Before this, many batsmen have achieved the feat of hitting 5 or more fours in a single over of an IPL match. But till now only 2 batsmen could do this for RCB.

In the history of IPL, Virat Kohli has become only the third batsman of Royal Challengers Bangalore to hit five or more fours in a single over. Before him, only Chris Gayle and Shane Watson were able to do this. Virat did this amazing feat in the second over of the innings against Gujarat Titans. He hit five consecutive fours on the first five balls of Kagiso Rabada.

Rabada wins the battle of giants
Virat Kohli may have hit 5 consecutive fours in the same over of Kagiso Rabada, but Rabada won in this battle of giants. Because in the very next over, Rabada got Virat Kohli caught by Rashid Khan. Virat was out in this match after scoring 28 runs in 13 balls.
King Kohli again had a chance to get the Orange Cap. However, to do this he needed to play a strong half-century innings. Virat is still in the race for the Orange Cap and has scored 379 runs in 9 matches. Virat is currently in fourth place in terms of scoring most runs in IPL 2026 and the Orange Cap is held by Abhishek Sharma (425 runs).
