Officials of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have indicated that the results of Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) will be released soon. The date and time are being finalised, and the results are likely to be released this week on the official website cisce.org.
Although the council has not yet announced the fixed date, but if we look at the pattern of previous years, there are clear indications that the result may come by the end of April. Students and parents have been advised to take updates only from the official website of CISCE and not to pay attention to any rumours.
When were the exams held?
This year ICSE Class 10 examinations were held between 17 February to 30 March 2026. Whereas the ISC Class 12 examinations ran from 12 February to 6 April 2026. After a long examination schedule, students are now eagerly waiting for the results. This time around 2.6 lakh students appeared for the ICSE exam, while around 1.5 lakh students appeared for the ISC exam.

Last year’s performance is raising expectations
Last year, the pass percentage of ICSE Class 10 was 99.35%, while the pass percentage of ISC Class 12 was recorded at 99.34%. After such excellent results, students are hopeful of good results this year also.
Now there will be no compartment exams
This time CISCE has also made a big change. Now there will be no traditional compartment exam. Instead, students will be given a chance for re-evaluation and improvement exam. Students will be able to apply for improvement examination in maximum two subjects in the same academic year.
How to check result?
- Students first go to the official website results.cisce.org.
- After this, select ICSE or ISC in the examination menu on the homepage.
- Now students fill their UID, Index Number and captcha code visible on the screen.
- After this the students click on the ‘Show Result’ button.
- Then the result of the student will appear on the screen, download it or take a print out.
