UP Board Result 2026: Lakhs of students are waiting for the 10th and 12th Board Result 2026 of Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, which is going to be released on 23rd April. Usually, UP Board releases the results of class 10th and 12th in the last week of April or beginning of May. Students can check their results on official websites like upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in.
For toppers, this time is an opportunity to win various kinds of prizes, which include things like cash prizes, laptops or tablets. The purpose of giving rewards is to encourage the top candidates and inspire the remaining students. The UP government awards the best performing students in different categories at the state level and district level.
- Toppers who make it to the state level in the merit list can be given a cash incentive of Rs 1 lakh.
- Toppers may be gifted a brand new laptop or tablet to promote digital education.
- Along with this, they are honored by giving Certificate of Honor and medal.
- The meritorious students who get top position in the district are given a prize money of Rs 21 thousand.
- Certificate of Honor is also given to the students at the district level so that their morale can be increased.
Unique initiative of road construction
Another special scheme of the Uttar Pradesh government is that the road leading to the houses of the toppers is named after them. If there is no paved road till the topper’s house, then a paved road is constructed by the Public Works Department (PWD), which is known as ‘Gaurav Path’.

Is the prize the same every year?
It is important to understand that the prize amount and facilities may change slightly every year as per the policies and budget of the government. However, the record of previous years shows that cash prize, digital device and certificate of honor, these three things are given to the toppers almost every year. This means that there is every possibility of getting a similar reward in 2026 also, even if there may be a slight change in the amount.
