Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has given a big employment opportunity to the youth. The company has announced recruitment for 660 non-executive posts, which include posts like Junior Officer Trainee, Diploma Trainee and Junior Technician Trainee.
The special thing is that recruitment is being done on different posts in CTUIL, a subsidiary of POWERGRID. The online application process for this recruitment will start from 20 April 2026. This is a golden opportunity for the youth who have done Diploma, ITI and Graduation, because different educational qualifications have been fixed for these posts and candidates from technical as well as non-technical fields can apply.

For the post of Diploma Trainee (Electrical), the candidate must have three years full time Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering. At least 70 percent marks are mandatory for General, OBC and EWS categories, whereas for SC, ST and PWD candidates only pass marks are considered sufficient. For Diploma Trainee (Civil), three years Diploma in Civil Engineering and 70 percent marks are required.
For Diploma Trainee (Survey), one should have three years Diploma in Civil or Survey Engineering. For Junior Officer Trainee (HR), three years degree in BBA, BBM or BBS and 60 percent marks for general category is required. For the post of Junior Officer Trainee (F&A), it is necessary to have CA or CMA Intermediate pass. Whereas for Junior Technician Trainee (Survey), there should be a two-year ITI course in Surveyor trade from a recognized institute.
This much fee will have to be paid
The application fee has also been decided according to the category. General, OBC (NCL) and EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs 300 for Diploma Trainee and Junior Officer Trainee posts and Rs 200 for Junior Technician Trainee posts. No fee will be charged from SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates. This fee has to be deposited online and it will not be refunded.

After selection, candidates will also have to fill a bond. For Diploma Trainee and Junior Officer Trainee posts, General, OBC and EWS candidates will have to pay a bond of Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand, whereas for Junior Technician Trainee post this amount has been fixed at Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand.
