Difficulties increased for LSG
Lucknow is already in a challenging situation, and now having their captain and biggest match-winner out in the middle innings is no less than a big blow for them. Pant is not only the backbone of the team as a batsman, but as a captain on the field, his strategies are also very important for the team.
Hazlewood’s dominance in bowling
Josh Hazlewood, playing for RCB, has left his mark as soon as he arrived. His precise line-length and pace have troubled the Lucknow top order. This injury suffered by Pant was the result of the same aggressive bowling by Hazlewood, due to which the host team will now try to strengthen its hold on the match.
