Playing the 22nd match of the season at its home ground Chepauk, CSK, captained by Ruturaj Gaikwad, defeated KKR by 32 runs. After setting the target of 193 runs with the stormy innings of Sanju Samson and Ayush Mhatre, CSK restricted KKR to 160/7 runs with the help of three wickets of Noor Ahmed. With this win, CSK team has reached eighth place in the points table with four points. At the same time, Ajinkya Rahane-led KKR is still looking for its first win. It has lost four out of five matches, while one point was gained due to the match being canceled due to rain. KKR team is at the bottom.

Samson-Mhatre’s bat
Batting first, CSK scored 192 runs on the scoreboard after losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Chennai Super Kings, who came to bat first after losing the toss, did not have a good start. KKR batsmen divided the base
