Praising Siraj, Gill said, ‘It is difficult to stop runs in the first six overs, but in this match he performed very well and brought us back into the match.’

Gill defended Kagiso Rabada, who gave 54 runs in four overs, saying, ‘He gave runs, but his length was accurate.’ Super Giants captain Rishabh Pant admitted that his team could not score enough runs.
