Captain Rishabh Pant led the team to victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The left-handed batsman played an unbeaten inning of 68 runs in 52 balls. This victory was not as easy as it seemed. The match was very exciting, Sunrisers Hyderabad made the competition tough. Pant made full use of his experience and led the team to victory in the last over.

In the last over, Pant hit three fours off the bowling of Jaydev Unadkat and gave LSG a five-wicket win.
