Pradosh Vrat Puja Method
On the day of Pradosh Vrat, wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes. After this, light a lamp in the puja room and take a resolution to fast while remembering Lord Shiva. On this day, fast is observed till the puja of Pradosh Kaal. Many people observe Nirjala fast while some also eat fruits. Worship Lord Shiva in the auspicious time during Pradosh period in the evening.
During the puja, offer water, milk, Ganga water, Belpatra, Dhatura, flowers and Akshat on Shivalinga. After this, light a ghee lamp and chant the mantras of Lord Shiva. during puja ““Om Namah Shivay” Mantra Chant. Also, do recite Shiv Chalisa or Pradosh Vrat Katha.
