Fans clashed with each other during the match between Lucknow and Delhi

New Delhi: In the Indian Premier League 2026, the match between Lucknow Supergiants and Delhi Capitals was played at Ekana Cricket Stadium. The entire stadium was packed with fans to watch this 5th match of the season. During the match itself, a huge ruckus broke out in a part of the stadium between two groups of fans over some issue. The matter escalated so much that heavy kicking and punching started in front of the police.

In the viral video on social media, the security personnel are trying to calm down the fighting between the fans, but even then no one seems ready to listen. After this incident that happened at Ekana Stadium, it is being described as WWE's arena on social media.

Heavy collision between Delhi and Lucknow

Whereas, if we talk about the match between Delhi and Lucknow, there was a fierce competition between the two teams. In the match, Lucknow Supergiants team batted first and scored 141 runs. In bowling, T Natarajan and Lungi Ngidi performed strongly and took three wickets each for Delhi. Apart from this, Kuldeep Yadav got 2 wickets and captain Akshar Patel got 1 wicket.

Delhi Capitals had a very bad start to chase the target of 142 runs given by Lucknow. The team had lost four wickets at the score of 26 runs, but after this Sameer Rizvi took the lead for Delhi. During this, Sameer got excellent support from Tristan Stubbs and both of them remained unbeaten and led Delhi to victory by 6 wickets. Rizvi played an inning of 70 runs for Delhi, while Stubbs contributed 39 runs. In this way, the Delhi Capitals team started the season with a win in its first match.
