Last season’s runner-up Punjab Kings have shown an amazing performance in the Indian Premier League 2026. Till now Shreyas Iyer’s team is the only one which has won all the matches. On Sunday, against Lucknow Super Giants, Priyansh Arya and Cooper Connolly created such havoc which surprised the Lucknow bowlers. A total of 454 runs were scored in the match, of which Punjab scored 254 runs on the score board.

Captain Rishabh Pant scored 43 runs in 23 balls and Mitchell Marsh scored 40 runs in 28 balls, but their efforts paled in front of the explosive batting of Priyansh and Connolly. Vishak Vijayakumar (1/30 in 4 overs) played an important role in bowling. By changing his pace, he broke the rhythm of both Marsh and Pant and stopped their innings.

The fastest partnership was 130 runs between David Miller and R Satish in 2013, in which the run rate was 15.91.
