Medical Courses Without Neet: Every year lakhs of students appear for NEET UG examination with the dream of becoming a doctor, but due to committee seats and competition, a large number of candidates are not able to achieve success. With time, many students assume that it is difficult to make a career in the medical field, whereas the reality is completely different. Medical sector is not limited to just MBBS or BDS. Today, there are many such professional courses available in the health care industry, where a great career can be made even without NEET. Experts believe that the health care sector is expanding rapidly and the demand for doctors as well as trained paramedical and allied health professionals is continuously increasing. If a student has not cleared NEET, then he has many options, where along with good salary, a better career can be made.

If you don’t clear NEET then this is your option

B.Sc Nursing

If you are interested in patient care and health care services then B.Sc Nursing can be a better option. This is a 4-year course, in which studies related to patient care, community health, ICU management and hospital management are imparted. After completing the course, one can get job opportunities in hospitals, clinics, health centers and even abroad. At the initial level, one can get a package of around Rs 3 to 6 lakh per year.

Bachelor of Pharmacy

B. Pharma is a good option for students interested in manufacturing of medicines, their effects and drug management. This is a 4 year course, after which there are job opportunities as Pharmacist, Medical Representative, Drug Inspector, Clinical Research or in Pharma Company. Interested students can also start their own medical store, the starting salary can be around Rs 3.5 to 6 lakh per year.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy

The field of physiotherapy is also progressing rapidly. This is a 4.5 year course. In this, the patient is given training to recover through exercise and therapy. Physiotherapist plays an important role in situations like sports injury, accident, paralysis and rehabilitation. The starting salary in the field can reach Rs 3 to 7 lakh per year.

B.Sc Biotechnology

B.Sc Biotechnology is considered a better option for students interested in biotechnology and technology. This is a 3-year course, in which subjects related to new research, development of new medicines and biotechnology are taught. After the course, employment opportunities are available in research labs, biotech companies and pharma industry. The annual package available in this field ranges from Rs 5 to 12 lakh.
