According to the report, BCCI may review the performance of the team’s coaching staff and players for the disappointing performance in the T-20 series. Although the contract of head coach Gautam Gambhir is till 2027, but according to BCCI sources, his job is in danger after the recent performance of the team.

The Indian team was first defeated 2-0 by Ireland and now England has taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match T20 series. The talk of BCCI reviewing the Indian team is spreading because questions have been raised regarding many decisions of the management during the England tour. Especially the team management is being criticized a lot for dropping Sanju Samson from the team. Sanju Samson was dropped after the first T20 match against England. In his place, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was fielded for the opening, but he has not proved to be effective.
