How to make market-like tasty momos at home?

1. First prepare the flour – Mix flour, salt and a little oil in a bowl, add water slowly and knead a soft but slightly stiff dough, then cover it with a wet cloth and keep it aside for about 30 minutes.

2. Make Veg Stuffing – Heat some oil in a pan. Add garlic, green onion and finely chopped vegetables like cabbage, carrot, French beans, capsicum and fry on high flame. Then prepare the stuffing by adding soy sauce, black pepper and salt and let it cool.

3. Roll out momos balls – Make small balls of dough and roll them into thin rounds. Keep in mind that the edges should be thin and the middle part should be a little thick, so that the momos can be closed properly.

4. Fill the stuffing and shape the momos – Place 2 to 3 spoons of stuffing in the middle of the rolled dough. Now fold the edges and make a pleat and close it well. If you want, you can give the size of momos like Gujiya also.

5. Cook in steam – Apply light oil on the steamer plate and keep the momos at a distance and then steam them for 5 to 7 minutes. When the outer layer becomes slightly transparent and is no longer sticky, the momos are ready.

6. Serve with hot chutney – Serve the prepared momos hot with momos chutney, red chilli-garlic chutney, schezwan sauce or tomato sauce. Their taste increases even more with spicy chutney.
