The Indian bowling attack looked completely ineffective in this match. Butler and Brook made a record partnership of 233 runs for the second wicket, which became one of the biggest partnerships for any wicket in T20 International cricket.

Shreyas Iyer said, ‘The pitch was excellent for batting. We probably could have tricked the opposing team a bit, but we dropped some catches.
