In this match, Bangladesh defeated Zimbabwe in both bowling and batting departments. In the match, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl. Zimbabwe, who came to bat first, was all out for 199 runs in 48.1 overs. Shoriful Islam was the most successful bowler for Bangladesh. He took 4 wickets for 44 runs in 10 overs. Tanveer Islam and Taskin Ahmed took 2-2 wickets. Mohammad Saifuddin got 1 wicket. To achieve the target of 200 runs, Bangladesh’s openers Tanjid Hasan and Soumya Sarkar gave a strong start and made a partnership of 151 runs in 27.4 overs for the first wicket.

Soumya Sarkar was out after scoring 69 runs in 82 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 6 fours. Tanjid Hasan made a partnership of 46 runs with Nazmul Hussain Shanto for the second wicket. When the team was just 3 runs away from victory, Tanjeed was out. Tanjeed played an excellent inning of 94 runs in 101 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 8 fours. Bangladesh also lost its third wicket at the score of 197.
Tauhid Hriday was out without opening the account. Bangladesh scored 200 runs for 3 wickets in 36 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. Nazmul remained unbeaten on 18 and Nurul on zero. For Zimbabwe, Ernest Masuku took 2 wickets and Tanaka Chiwanga took 1 wicket. Despite the defeat in this match, Zimbabwe won the series 2-1. Zimbabwe had won the first 2 matches of the series.
