Germany-born Evelyn Sharma entered Bollywood in 2012 with the film ‘Sydney with Love’, but she got real recognition from Ayan Mukherjee’s film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ in 2013.
Her flirtatious style with Ranbir Kapoor (Bunny) in the film and her famous dialogue, “Oh my God, Bunny… you’re so handsome!” The audience liked it very much.
After ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, Evelyn appeared in many big films like ‘Yaariyan’, ‘Main Tera Hero’, ‘Hindi Medium’, ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ and ‘Saaho’. She created a distinct identity in the industry with her glamorous and exotic looks.
Evelyn Sharma was last seen in the year 2019 in Prabhas starrer film ‘Saaho’. People liked her acting in the film. However, since then she has not appeared in any project.
The reason for this long distance from films is a beautiful turn in Evelyn’s personal life. Actually, Evelyn married her long-term boyfriend and Australia based dental surgeon Dr. Tushan Bhindi in the year 2021.
After marriage, Evelyn said goodbye to the glamor world and Mumbai and shifted to Sydney, Australia forever. The couple has two children, daughter Ava Rania Bhindi (2021) and son Arden (2023).
However, Evelyn and Tushaan have separated after about five years of marriage. The actress had confirmed her separation in May 2026. However, both are going to raise their children together.
Currently, Evelyn is living a very peaceful, happy and luxurious life with her children in Sydney. Even though she is away from films, she remains constantly connected with her fans through social media.
Avenil often shares beautiful pictures of her luxurious Sydney home, garden and children. After taking a break from acting, Evelyn Sharma is also working as a successful entrepreneur. She runs a charity store named ‘Infinity 8’ to promote sustainable fashion.
