Parthiv also admitted that in the past, Samson was dropped from the team due to lack of consistency in his performance, but there is no reason to drop him in the current series against England. But I think this decision was taken on emotional grounds.

Samson, who was named the best player of the tournament in this year’s T20 World Cup, failed in three consecutive matches, in which he scored a total of six runs. After this, 15-year-old Suryavanshi was included in the team in his place. This talented batsman has not been able to show amazing results like IPL till now. Suryavanshi had scored the most runs in IPL. India is currently 0-3 behind England in the current series. This is the first time that England has won a T20 series from India.
