Actually, Shreyas Iyer has become the fourth Indian captain to win the toss in 5 or more consecutive T20 International matches. Iyer, who is leading the T20 team from the Ireland tour, won the toss in the fifth consecutive match in Nottingham, thereby equaling the record of Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni. Both these greats had also won the toss in 5 consecutive matches in T20 International. Dhoni did this in 2007, while Rohit Sharma achieved this milestone during 2020 to 2022.

Dhoni played 7 consecutive T20 matches between 2010 and 2012 and won all the toss. Virat Kohli is at second place in this list. Kohli won the toss while captaining India in 6 consecutive T20s in 2019. After Iyer, he has a chance to become number-1 in this list by leaving behind Dhoni and Kohli in the next few matches.
