New Delhi. History was created at the Old Trafford ground in Manchester. By entering international cricket at the age of 15, Suryavanshi achieved a feat which big legends are not able to do in their entire career. As soon as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi entered the field, he registered his name in golden letters in the history of Indian cricket. He has now become the youngest cricketer to make his international debut for India in any format. He has become the youngest player to play Men’s T20 International for any full member country in the world. In this historic match, another unique record was added to Suryavanshi’s name, which perhaps he would not like to remember. The way he got out after scoring 14 runs in his 10-ball innings, included him in a unique list. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the first Indian player to be stumped out in his debut match in T20 International cricket.

Josh Tong faced speed and bounce in the beginning
The pitch at Old Trafford is known for its pace and extra bounce. England’s fast bowler Josh Tong gave a tough test to this 15 year old young opener with his sharp bowling. Suryavanshi was seen struggling against the pace and seam movement of the bat and even got beaten twice while trying to play aggressive shots. His partner Abhishek Sharma also looked troubled by the changed mood of the pitch at the other end. Ultimately, Vaibhav intelligently dug out a precise yorker which took the inside edge of his bat towards fine leg and thus took a single to score his first run in international cricket.

Showed ‘fearless’ style against Joffra Archer
After the initial struggle, the young Khabbu batsman showed the fearless game for which he is known. Suryavanshi opened his hands as soon as he came in front of his Rajasthan Royals teammate Joffra Archer in IPL. On a fast ball from Archer, Suryavanshi made space towards the leg stump and using the momentum of the ball, scooped it over the wicketkeeper’s head. The ball fell straight across the boundary line. This was the first and most spectacular six of his international career.

How did this ‘stormy cameo’ end?
This aggressive style of Vaibhav ultimately became the reason for his outing. The England captain fielded off-spinner Will Jacques in front of this left-handed batsman from India. This was a strategic change. On seeing Jacques, Suryavanshi decided to move forward and play a big shot using his steps. But Will Jacques showed cleverness and increased the speed of the ball a bit and threw it well outside the off stump. Suryavanshi was completely beaten and Jos Buttler, who was alert behind the wicket, scattered the wickets in the blink of an eye. This is how this exciting cameo of 14 runs in 10 balls ended.
