Rahul Dravid’s son Anvay made his debut in India Under-19 team

New Delhi: There is discussion everywhere about 15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is on England tour, as to when he will debut for Team India. Vaibhav did not play in the last three T20s despite being included in Team India, meanwhile Anvay, son of former Indian batsman and coach Rahul Dravid, made his debut in the India Under-19 team. Anvay has made his debut for Sri Lanka Under-19 team in India Under-19 team. Anvay has been included in the playing eleven of the team captained by Yashvardhan Chauhan.

Let us tell you that Anvay Dravid is a wicketkeeper batsman. Anvay has shown strong performance in junior level cricket for some time, due to which he has been selected in India’s Under-19 team. Earlier, Anvay had got a chance to take the field for India B Under-19 against Afghanistan Under-19 team last year. In this match, Anvay was out for zero while batting, but he impressed everyone in wicket-keeping and took 2 catches.

Anvay has also been the captain of Karnataka Under-19 team.

As much as people know Anvay Dravid because of his father Rahul Dravid, they are not known that much because of his game. Very few people know that Anvay had recently captained Karnataka in the quarter-finals of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy. Talking about his performance in this tournament, it was also very excellent.
