Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has started the application process for recruitment to a total of 708 posts of Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard. Through this recruitment, candidates who have passed 12th and appeared in PET-2025 will get an opportunity to get a job in the Forest Department.
How many posts will be recruited?
Under this recruitment drive, a total of 708 posts will be filled including general and special selection of forest guards and wildlife guards. Among these, the maximum number of posts are for forest guards, while seats have been fixed in different categories for wildlife guards also. Who can apply?
To apply for this recruitment, the candidate must have passed 12th from a recognized board. Also, the candidate must have participated in the UPSSSC PET-2025 examination and must have a valid normalized scorecard. Candidates without PET-2025 score will not be eligible to apply.
What will be the age limit?
The minimum age for this recruitment has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 40 years. Reserved category candidates will get age relaxation as per government rules.
Talking about physical qualification, the minimum height for general, OBC and SC category men has been kept at 168 cm and for ST category men, it has been kept at 160 cm. The minimum height for women has been set at 152 centimeters. Women from ST category will get a relaxation of 5 cm.
How much salary will you get?
Selected candidates will get job under pay scale level-2. The starting salary will be Rs 19,900 per month, which can reach Rs 63,200 per month including all government allowances.
How will the selection be done?
Talking about the recruitment process, first of all the candidates will be shortlisted for the main written examination on the basis of PET-2025. Candidates who are successful in the written examination will have to undergo Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

After this the height, chest and weight of the candidates will be checked. In the physical efficiency test, male candidates will have to complete a race of 25 kilometers with a weight of 10 kg and female candidates will have to complete a race of 14 kilometers with a weight of 14 kg in the stipulated time. There will be medical examination of the successful candidates in all the stages and after that the final selection list will be released.

In this recruitment, the application fee for all categories of candidates has been kept at only Rs 25.
