New Delhi: The debut of 15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the Indian team is becoming a big issue. Vaibhav was included in Team India for the tour of Ireland and England, but he has not been fielded in the three matches played so far. Different opinions of cricket experts from India and abroad are also coming out regarding this. Regarding Vaibhav’s debut, now former World Cup winning captain of India Kapil Dev expressed his views in detail and also discussed his future.

In an interview given to ‘Sports Tak’, Kapil Dev said, “I have not seen him that much. I have seen him as little as I can. There is no doubt that he has a lot of talent, but I feel that we are talking too much about him at the moment. Give him some time, don’t make him too big. Those who are young, they don’t even understand yet. They don’t even know it in themselves.

Virat and Sachin in glory – Kapil Dev

Apart from his debut in Team India, Kapil Dev compared Vaibhav with Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar regarding his talent. He said, “If you talk about Vaibhav’s talent, he is no less than Virat and Sachin. So much talent is visible in him, but in T20, he will have to prove the rest. Will he be able to play 5 overs of maiden in Test cricket? Virender Sehwag would not think like this, but he thinks like this in cricket.”
