Along with written examination, physical test is equally important for the candidates preparing for government jobs. In such a situation, the incident of deteriorating health of 10 candidates including a girl in Ghaziabad even before the physical test for the SI recruitment examination to be held in Uttar Pradesh, advised the candidates of the recruitment examination to take precautions in future.
While completing the race during the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) held at the 47th Corps PAC complex in Govindpuram, Ghaziabad, 10 candidates, including a girl, suddenly felt dizzy and fell down. The medical team present on the spot immediately gave first aid to all and they were taken to the Joint District Hospital.
Referred two candidates
After treatment by doctors, considering the condition of two candidates, they were referred to a higher medical center for better treatment. When the condition of other candidates was found to be normal, they were discharged after first aid. Due to timely availability of medical facilities, immediate assistance was provided to everyone.

Recruitment going on for thousands of posts
The recruitment process for 4,543 posts of Sub Inspector (SI) is going on by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Physical efficiency test is being conducted at various centers in the state. A total of 565 candidates were called on the first day at Ghaziabad centre, which included 164 women candidates.
Warning given to candidates
Whether it is police recruitment or army service, a candidate has to face a physical test. In such a situation, experts believe that candidates should practice running regularly before the examination, drink enough water, eat a balanced diet and get enough sleep. Appearing directly in the physical examination without preparation can cause health problems.
