Remove 3 players, then Vaibhav will debut! Will Team India change in the second match?

India Predicted Playing 11 for 2nd T20I: Team India, which is lagging in the series after losing the first T20 against Ireland, can enter the second match with major changes. Once again all eyes are going to be on 15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who did not get a chance to make his international debut in the first match. However, it remains to be seen what decisions the captain-coach duo of Shreyas Iyer and Gautam Gambhir take.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi can debut in the second T20.
New Delhi. Team India’s defeat against Ireland has created a stir in Indian cricket. For the first time in international cricket, India had to face defeat at the hands of Ireland. Ireland has taken the lead in the series by winning the opening match of the two-match series played in Belfast against the World Champions by 34 runs. India no longer has a chance to win the series, but the team will try to draw the series. The second T20 will also be played at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast. This match is to be held on June 28. The Indian team can be seen with a changed playing-11 in this match. Let us know about those three changes which are possible in the playing-11.
Possibility of change in Team India
In the first match, pacer Prasidh Krishna emerged as a weakness in the playing-11 of the Indian team. He made a shameful record of bowling the most expensive over of 27 runs for India against Ireland. Apart from this, he became the bowler who scored the highest score of 125 runs in two consecutive T20 International matches. Prasidh, who came to play T20 International match after 2023, gave away 57 runs in his quota of four overs and did not take any wicket. After his performance, the team management will be eyeing the inclusion of fast bowler Prince Yadav in the playing-11, who made his ODI debut against Afghanistan with his excellent bowling in IPL 2026.
Why is the team carrying Washington Sundar?
Questions have been continuously raised regarding Washington Sundar’s role in the T20 team. His role in the first T20 against Ireland once again made it a hot topic. According to experts, spin all-rounder Sundar does not get a place in the team. That’s because he neither bowls much nor his performance is anything special when he gets to bat. Against Ireland, he bowled only one over and gave away 19 runs. While batting, only 9 runs came out of 12 balls from Sundar’s bat. A good option could be to give T20 debut to Suryansh Shedge in his place, who recently performed brilliantly in the ODI series against Afghanistan. Suryansh has good figures in T20 also. If not Suryansh, then leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi can also be given a chance.
Vaibhav debuts, so who will be out?
Indian explosive batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi can be given his international debut in the second T20 match. He can come to the team in place of Tilak Verma. Even though Tilak has been appointed the vice-captain of the T20 team, this middle order batsman has not performed well with the bat, not only against Ireland but also in the last few matches. Apart from a few matches, there has been no consistency in his performance. His scores in the last 10 matches have been – 25, 25, 25, 31, 1, 44*, 27, 21, 8*, 19.
Now the question is that Vaibhav is an opener, so if Tilak is dropped and brought into the team, then how will he fit in. For this, India will have to change its batting combination slightly. Either Sanju Samson or Ishan Kishan can come to bat at number-5. Samson has played this role for the team before. In such a situation, Abhishek’s opening partner will be Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ishan Kishan will play at number 3. However, what the management thinks about these three changes in the playing-11 will be known only during the toss in the second match.
