New Delhi: Sunrisers Hyderabad team led by Pat Cummins has reached the top of the points table with its 7th win in IPL 2026. Sunrisers’ 11th match in the league stage was with Punjab Kings. Both the teams had come to play at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium for this match. In the match, Sunrisers, batting first, scored 235 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, but in response, Punjab Kings could only score 202 runs despite Cooper Conley’s century, due to which Sunrisers won the match by 33 runs.

With this victory over Punjab, Sunrisers also made a big record in the IPL. Actually, Sunrisers and Punjab team came to play the match against each other for the 11th time in Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. At this venue, Sunrisers maintained their excellent record and achieved the feat of defeating Punjab for the 10th time. With this, Sunrisers has become only the second team in IPL to achieve 10 or more wins against a single team at a single venue. In this matter, five-time champion Mumbai Indians is on top. Mumbai has made a record of winning 11 out of 13 matches against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Cricket Stadium.

Of course, Sunrisers team won the match against Punjab Kings but the real hero of the match was Coop Conley. Conley played a strong unbeaten inning of 107 runs for Punjab. In this innings, he faced 59 balls, which included 8 sixes and 7 fours. This was Cooper Connelly’s first century in IPL. However, Conley could not get support from other batsmen of the team, due to which Punjab Kings had to face defeat.

Whereas, if we talk about Sunrisers’ batting, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen played half-century innings. Ishaan played an inning of 55 runs in 32 balls, while Klaasen scored 69 runs. However, both these batsmen were given a lease of life by the fielders of Punjab Kings, of which they took full advantage. Apart from this, Abhishke Sharma scored 35 runs and Travis Head scored 38 runs, while Nitish Kumar Reddy remained unbeaten after scoring 29 runs.
