Batting first, Delhi Capitals scored 155 runs. Delhi team is playing at its home i.e. in Arun Jaitley Stadium, but Delhi batsmen were seen struggling to score runs in front of the fiery balls of CSK bowlers. On the basis of fighting innings of Sameer Rizvi and Tristan Stubbs, DC team was somehow able to cross the mark of 150 runs.
This match is very important for both the teams from the playoff point of view. Both Delhi and Chennai are on eight points each after playing 9 matches. The top order of Delhi Capitals was a complete flop, because all three batsmen, KL Rahul, Pathum Nissanka and Nitish Rana, crossed the 10-run mark, but no one could reach 20 runs.
Stubbs and Rizvi saved shame

CSK’s strong bowling
Anshul Kamboj has proved to be dangerous this entire season, but against Delhi he gave away 49 runs in 4 overs. Apart from him, all the bowlers of Chennai bowled well. Akeal Hosein made a comeback in this match, taking one wicket for only 19 runs in 4 overs. Noor Ahmed took 2 wickets, while Mukesh Chaudhary, Gurjapneet Singh and Jamie Overton took one wicket each.
